🚴‍♂️ Let’s Keep Our Sidewalks Safe!
We have received numerous reports regarding unsafe riding habits involving e-bikes and motorized scooters.
While these rides are a fun and efficient way to get around, reckless riding on sidewalks puts both the riders and our pedestrians at serious risk.
Parents, we need your help! Please take a few moments to talk to your children and teens about responsible riding habits.
Key Safety Reminders to Share: Yield to Pedestrians: Walkers always have the right of way. Slow down or dismount when sidewalks are crowded.
Alert Others: Use a bell or a polite "on your left" when passing pedestrians from behind.
Control Your Speed: Motorized wheels move fast. Keep speeds low, especially around corners and driveways.
Wear a Helmet: Protect those bright minds—helmets save lives!
Let’s work together to look out for one another and keep our community walkways safe for everyone. .

Per Council decision, there is only 1 large item pickup per year. That occurs in the Spring. There will not be a large item pickup for Fall.

There is a water main repair being done in the 2100 block of 3rd St. Residents in the 1800-2100 blocks of 3rd St may encounter low pressure and flow during the repairs. Please avoid the area to let crews do their work safely and quickly. Thank you, Camanche Public Works.
