We also know that the status quo in California isn't working for us either. In one of the most important races in Ventura County, we proudly endorse one of our own, Ashley Orozco, for Supervisor District 2! This district covers the Conejo Valley, the Santa Rosa Valley, and part of Camarillo. As many of us struggle to get by in this beautiful place we call home, the Republican majority in charge of our county has done us no favors. Ashley will work to strengthen services and do everything a county supervisor can to ensure the well-being of all residents and the protection of our environment. This Earth Day, we are proud to support Chris Espinosa for Congress in California's new District 26, which covers much of Ventura County.

Chris has extensive experience working in the House that includes serving on the Natural Resources Committee as senior staff during Chairman Grijalva’s leadership. This meant working at the epicenter of federal climate policy on urgent issues involving environmental justice, tribal sovereignty, public lands, water use, energy oversight, wildfire resilience, mining reform, and biodiversity protection.

His platform also highlights his support of universal healthcare and abolishing ICE among other progressive priorities.

Hello everyone! Our Officer Elections Meeting is coming up this Friday! Please join us at 6:30 p.m at the Ventura County Democrats Party Main Office to elect our 2026-2027 executive board. You may also participate via Zoom, link will be sent in an email day of.
