May 23rd, 2019 is National Stop the Bleed Day! Stop the Bleed is a national public awareness and training campaign to teach bleeding control techniques to the public and empower them with the skills and knowledge to help in a bleeding emergency.
This year, May is National Stop the Bleed Month and stop the bleed day intended to heighten public awareness and bring bleeding control instructors and students together for training events across the country. More information about the day – including educational resources for the general public and a list of upcoming training courses searchable by location and date – is available at www.bleedingcontrol.org
