Interested in quilting but don’t know where to start? Join us for a hands-on quilting tutorial led by the Quilt Project Gold Coast. This workshop will go over the history of the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt, quilt and craft activism, and will provide a hands-on quilt square tutorial. Supplies and materials will be provided.

The Quilt Project Gold Coast, an all-volunteer group, creates and displays AIDS Memorial Quilts in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS, remember those lost to the disease, and help survivors cope with the loss of their loved ones.
