Just like we teach our students, we encourage everyone to be civil, constructive, respectful, and responsible when posting to social media. The follo

wing are types of content that are not allowed on Camas School District social media sites:

-Comments, posts, or replies that are out of context and/or not related to the topic at hand;
-Comments in support of or opposition to political campaigns, candidates, ballot measures, or pending legislation;
-Sexual content or links to sexual content;
-Commercial advertisements or solicitations;
-Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination;
-Language or content that is profane, vulgar, abusive, denigrating, harassing, intimidating, or bullying in nature;
-Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity;
-Content that endangers safety or security of the public or public systems, violates the privacy rights of individuals, or infringes on legal ownership interests of any other party;
-Content that violates Camas School District policy regarding the acceptable use of electronic resources. Please note that the comments and responses made or expressed by others on any social media platform do not reflect the opinion or position of the Camas School District or our staff.

Incoming Camas High School junior Shaunak Deshpande has spent his summer creating Cameraderie, a new youth nature photography group for young people ages 10-18, in partnership with Vancouver Audubon!

Shaunak has organized and hosted fundraisers, led bird walks at Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge, secured business sponsors and is now developing educational programs for younger students. Keep up the great work, Shaunak!

Congratulations to Camas High School Class of 2026 graduates Sophie Jacobs, Rafa Lavagnino, Jack Parbon, Evan Gaasch, Muhammad Muaz Rafique, Mishal Rafique and Jose Calito for earning the Seal of Biliteracy! 👏

The Seal of Biliteracy recognizes graduating seniors who demonstrate proficiency in English and a second language. This achievement celebrates the hard work, dedication and skills it takes to communicate across languages and cultures while helping increase the number of students who graduate proficient in at least two languages.

🤼 Congratulations to Camas High School senior Simon Jarrell on signing to continue his wrestling career at North Idaho College!

A four-year letterman and four-time state placer, Simon leaves Camas as one of the most accomplished wrestlers in program history. He earned a fifth-place finish and three third-place finishes at Mat Classic while helping the Papermakers achieve team success at both State Duals and the state tournament.

Simon will graduate from high school with his associate degree from Clark College and plans to study Engineering at North Idaho.

🏉 Congratulations to Camas High School graduate Carlos Del Puerto on signing to continue his rugby career at Western Washington University this fall!

Carlos has been a leader for the Camas Rugby program, helping the team earn two state runner-up finishes and one third-place finish during his three years with the program. A two-time all-state selection and team captain, Carlos is currently ranked among the top rugby players in the nation.

At Western Washington, Carlos plans to study Supply Chain Management while continuing his rugby career.
