This week, we celebrate the voices behind the line—our dispatchers. 🎧

During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, we recognize the calm in the chaos, the steady voices in the dark, and the unseen heroes who answer every call—no matter the hour.

Here in Washington County, our dispatch team is the first link in every emergency response. They are the lifeline between those in need and those who respond.

To our Washington County Dispatchers: thank you for your dedication, your strength, and your unwavering commitment to our communities. We hear you, we appreciate you, and we stand with you.

🚒🔥Just a quick little video of one of our firefighters (Jace Mink) and his class coming out of the flashover training trailer. This training trailer teaches our crews how to remain calm, and help them escape a potential flashover. We still can't thank the Snake River Valley Training Officers Association for supplying this knowledge and tools to protect our firefighters in intense situations they could potentially face in their careers. 🔥🚒

Ready...set...GO...
Here we are with SRVTOA day 2 of 2 of the final weekend in their essentials training. Let me just say our 3 guys rocked it this weekend. Fires can sometimes happen in less than ideal weather and that's what these 3 guys got to train in today. Rain or shine they got it done. Well done Jace Mink, Nate Bayes, and Wayne Powell you made Cambridge Volunteer Fire proud!
A huge thank you for all the time and effort put in by the Snake River Valley Training Officers Association for continuing to keep our men and women trained up and ready to serve their communities. We are so thankful to be a part of the SRV.
