Stomp into your local library and bite into some dino-mite events! 🦖🦕

Summer Reading 2026 begins on June 1st, and you don't want to miss out on our ✨ dinosaur era ✨ Take a look at all the events happening at the Cambridge and Hurlock libraries, and mark your calendars.

First up, we have our Kickoff Party on the Cambridge library - Saturday, June 6th at 12 PM. Can't wait to see you there!

Our 54-year old Cambridge Library building is in desperate need of some TLC. Contractors are expected to begin sealing our rusted, leaking gutters next week. Later in June, the external windows, doors, trim, and railings will be repaired and repainted! (The last time anything outside was painted was circa 1997, with the likely possibility of original paint still being on the windows from the 1970’s!)

We do not expect to have to close during these projects, but the parking lots may be blocked off at different times for the work to be completed safely.

We can’t wait to see how things turn out! Stay tuned for updates.
