While we love all our books, sometimes we just have too many. So when our early Wisconsin summer gets too hot or too rainy, use your indoor time to go through your accumulated books, DVDs and puzzles and donate them to the Cambridge Community Library for its 46th annual Used Book Sale and Basket Raffle fund raiser set for August 7 and 8. The sale is not just novels. The Used Book Sale always has a broad spectrum of fiction and non-fiction books, both hard cover and paperback. So w**d through your gardening books, thin out your dieting books, sift through your cookbooks and drop them off (DVDs and puzzles too!) at the Library.
Also, our Basket Raffle is always a “best seller”. Start thinking of a unique book-themed basket to donate. Baskets can be dropped off anytime and Library staff will put them on display prior to the event.
There are volunteer opportunities associated with our sale. Watch this space for information on how to further support our library.
Let’s work together to make this the best Used Book Sale and Basket Raffle yet! The Friends of the Cambridge Community Library thanks everyone for their support.
