PHA is thrilled to be one of only 28 school districts statewide to be awarded a Civics Teaching and Learning Grant from the Healey-Driscoll Administration!

We are grateful to the administration and DESE for supporting PHA's Upper Elementary Campus with a Civics grant so PHA grades 3-5 teachers can receive professional development on teaching the Investigating History curriculum. The curriculum promotes civic service, prepares students for the duties of citizenship, and encourages deeper learning through actively doing civics.

Funds help districts expand access to high-quality civic learning for all students
