We’re excited to announce our very first Career Skills Showcase!

On May 6th, Enroot is launching a brand new career exploration event, designed to go beyond the traditional career fair.

Local professionals will share the skills, experiences, and opportunities that shaped their careers. Students will come prepared through participating in workshops that build the networking and communication skills they need to confidently explore their futures.

What better way to celebrate Pi day than with delicious pies from talented local bakers while supporting local immigrant youth? Happy National Mentoring Month!

Mentorship creates space for confidence to grow and community to thrive. At Enroot being a mentor means showing up, co-creating a sense of belonging, and walking alongside someone as they navigate high school. It means sharing your expertise while inviting students to share theirs so you can learn and grow together. It means giving each immigrant high school student access to opportunity and the power to define their own success.

This month, we’re celebrating the volunteers who bring curiosity, joy, and care to their mentorship. Stay tuned as we share stories from our current and past volunteers!
