Public Announcement:

On Tuesday, August 18th, the East Central Drug and Violent Offenders Task Force, assisted by the Isanti County Sheriff's Office, executed a narcotics search warrant on 32000 block of Rendova St NE in Isanti Township.

THERE IS NO DANGER TO THE PUBLIC. We ask that the public please avoid driving through the area if possible as officers remain on scene conducting their investigation.

Meet K9 Meeko! 🐾

Please join us in welcoming the newest member of the Isanti County Sheriff's Office!

Meeko is a 13 month old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix who has traveled all the way from Germany to begin his new career here in Isanti County. Today marks the beginning of an exciting journey for Meeko as he starts a 13-week K9 training program with McDonough K9. Once he successfully completes his training and certifications, Meeko will hit the road and serve alongside his handler, Deputy Nate Fisher.

We're excited to watch Meeko learn, grow, and become an important part of our team. We're looking forward to seeing what this young K9 can accomplish!
