Join us for a Medication Takeback Event hosted by the Cambridge Public Health Department, Cambridge Police Department, and Cambridge Council on Aging.

📍 Cambridge Senior Center, 806 Massachusetts Ave.
📅 Monday, October 20
🕐 1–3 p.m.

Staff will be on-site in the lobby to collect unwanted or unused prescriptions, over-the-counter meds, and vitamins for safe disposal.

Community Health Worker training starts in September! The goal of the CHW training program is to engage, train and empower people to improve the health of their communities. This free training covers the core competencies outlined by the state and meets the program requirements set by the Massachusetts Board of CHWs. CHA’s training also includes Mental Health First Aid, Motivational Interviewing and more. The course is 8 weeks in-person training, starting September 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. More information and registration: https://buff.ly/GCM4E2P

Staff will help you understand your blood pressure readings and will share what you can do to reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke.
