Dorchester County Government offices and facilities, including the Department of Solid Waste (landfill & transfer stations), will be CLOSED on Monday, February 23, 2026, as winter weather is expected to bring accumulating snow and create hazardous travel conditions across the area.

Non-essential employees should not report to work. All essential employees are required to report to work as scheduled.
