Cambridge Pride 2025 was a total success ✨People loved being outside for the first time ever which allowed for dancing, chalk art, and a sense of community. HUGE thank you’s all around!!!Thank you to the organizations who took part in our resource table fair (and had great swag). Thank you to the vendors who applied magical face paint, oversaw crafting, and those behind the scenes who set up equipment early in the day. Thank you to our musical guests who brought joy and music to the streets. Thank you IT, DPW, and volunteers for making sure the event ran smoothly. Finally, thank you to the Mayor and her team for their help in planning as well as presenting our awards and a strong speech. Thank you to all who came out to celebrate, we had such a great time :) Visibility is power, love is resistance, and community is everything.🌈

03/31/2025

Today, on Transgender Day of Visibility, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and courage of the transgender community. 🌈✨ This day is not only a moment to recognize the ongoing fight for equality and justice but also to amplify the voices of transgender individuals who continue to inspire change, break barriers, and shape a world of acceptance. From the trailblazers like Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, who fought for transgender rights, to the countless individuals who courageously live their truths, we honor their stories and the ongoing journey for visibility, love, and respect. 🌟
Right now, the transgender community in America is facing a wave of unprecedented hatred and discrimination. From harmful legislation targeting access to healthcare, education, and basic rights, to increasing violence and social stigma, transgender individuals are under attack. These relentless challenges fuel fear and marginalization, yet the resilience and strength of the community shine through. It’s a harsh reminder that the fight for equality and dignity is far from over, and we must stand together in solidarity to combat hatred, promote understanding, and protect the rights of transgender people. Every voice matters. Every act of support counts.
