Justice is not an arbitrary application of the law, but rather a thoughtful review of the relevant facts, an application of the appropriate law, and the efficient progress toward an outcome that seeks to address the problem at hand, as well as, address the underlying root. In carrying out this duty, my office handles a wide variety of responsibilities. Through the Criminal Division we seek to upho

ld the law, support the efforts of law enforcement, and to protect our citizens. In the Civil Division, we represent every county elected official (when acting in their official capacity), every county department, every county board, township trustee, and fiscal officer. The Prosecutor's Office works closely with local victim services organizations, including our own, Victim Advocacy Program, to ensure the victims’ voices are involved in the trial process and to identify victims in order to connect them with appropriate services. It is my honor to service as Guernsey County’s Prosecuting Attorney. I and my staff promise to carry out all of our duties with excellence and integrity.
