DISPATCH: AT 5:23 am we responded to a residential structure fire on Hwy 70 E, arriving units E23 and Tanker 5 found the residence full of smoke with no fire showing. Fire Chief Robert Barker and Assistant Chief James Laws determined the fire to be located inside of a wall and removed a small section of exterior wall covering. Fire was located and extinguished with minimal damage by firefighters on scene. Great work Crew.

This could have been alot worse good work by the resident in calling the Fire Department quickly.

Another successful cat in the tree rescue. Wilson the kitten is now back with his family after being in the tree for 5 days. While the rest of the crew was search and rescue training we were busy saving 9 lives. 🐈 😻 . Lol

We also wish to Thank Big Daddys for all the drinks and hospitality shown to all the responders.
We filled your entire parking lot with response vehicles and disrupted your daily business and you never once ask anything of us. You are greatly appreciated. More than we can ever repay you.
