Let your voice be heard at the polls by choosing either a Republican or Democratic ballot and participating in the election process.

Important reminder: The party ballot you choose tomorrow determines which party’s runoff election you will be eligible to vote in on June 16, 2026, should a runoff occur.

We are excited to announce the Wilcox County Commission provided two cell phones for the Board of Registrars office yesterday afternoon, in addition to the original cell phone previously supplied. We appreciate the effort to help improve communication and voter accessibility ahead of the Primary Election.

Jacqulyn Boone, 51, and Steven Thigpen, 49, were each charged with unlawful use of absentee ballots, a Class C felony under Alabama law. Boone previously served as mayor of Ft. Deposit, and Thigpen was a candidate for the Ft. Deposit City Council. Both were declared winners in the August 2025 election.

Attorney General Steve Marshall today announced the arrest of two Lowndes County residents on charges related to the unlawful use of absentee ballots in the August 2025 Ft. Deposit, Ala municipal election.

Gov. Ivey signs the Alabama Post-Election Audit Act into law

On Monday, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey signed into law the Alabama Post-Election Audit Act, legislation that will require post-election audits be conducted after every statewide and countywide general election. The audits' findings will be made publicly available, as will the times and locations of each audit. The act's provisions went into effect immediately and will apply to any future general elections in the state.
