Starting April 6, 2026, we will have 3 bus changes to the Camden bus schedule. The afternoon routes of buses #12 & #5 will be running 30 minutes early. Also, Bus #2 (2nd load) will be running 30 minutes later in afternoons. The morning bus schedules of these 3 buses will remain on schedule. If you are needing to make alternate transportation arrangements, you may call 731-584-6111.

Regarding a Reported Incident at Camden Junior High School

The Benton County School System is informing parents, guardians, and the community about an incident that occurred at Camden Junior High School.
A .22 caliber cartridge was turned in to the school administration. Upon learning of the item, the school administration acted quickly and followed established safety protocols. The Department of Homeland Security, the School Resource Officer (SRO), and local law enforcement were promptly notified and responded to the school.
Appropriate authorities conducted a thorough investigation. Following that investigation, it has been determined there is no reason to believe any student, teacher, or staff member was in immediate threat as a result of this incident.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our highest priority. We are grateful to the individual who exercised good judgment in turning the item in, and to our law enforcement partners for their swift and professional response.
We ask that parents speak with their children and reinforce the importance of reporting anything suspicious or out of the ordinary to a trusted adult or school official. Our schools are a safe place to learn, and we are committed to keeping them that way.

Our annual spring concert will be Thursday, March 26th and will be held in the CHS gymnasium.

The bands will be performing a wide variety of exciting, challenging concert music - we hope to see you there to support the finest musicians in Benton County!

‼️CJH GIRLS’ BASKETBALL TRYOUTS‼️

CJH girls basketball tryouts will be FRIDAY, MARCH 20th, 2026, from 3:00-4:30.

This is for any girl who will be in 6th-8th grade next school year.

These will be closed tryouts; parents/guardians are not permitted to stay and watch.

Please be here to pick your child up by 4:25 after the tryout.

Athletes need to bring appropriate clothes and shoes to fully participate in the tryout.

CJH BOYS’ BASKETBALL TRYOUTS

Tryouts for Camden Junior High Boys’ Basketball will be held on March 25 and March 27 from 3:00–5:00 PM.

Wednesday, March 25
Upcoming 7th and 8th graders
3:00–5:00 PM

Friday, March 27
Upcoming 6th graders
3:00–5:00 PM

These will be closed tryouts. Parents/guardians will not be permitted to stay and watch.

Athletes should arrive with appropriate basketball clothing and shoes and be prepared to fully participate in the tryout.

Parents/guardians should plan to pick up their child by 4:55 PM.
