During conferences Thursday evening, we invite you to visit the cafeteria where our related arts department will have food, fun, and useful resources for our families.

Our goal is to have at least 100 people come by and each student represented will receive a wrist band to wear for a free hat or pajama pants day of their choice.

This year's yearbook students have been working hard on creating the 2026- 27 yearbook! Students have been coming up and presenting theme ideas, practicing photography and team building. 🏈 FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE!

The War Eagle football team hosts Hopkins at the Bulldog Sports Complex.

Start time is 6:30!

Tickets can be purchased ahead of time at https://bit.ly/CMShometown or through the Hometown Fan app.

Having a digital ticket out and ready to be scanned helps keep the line moving!

Reminder: Clear Bag Policy, Open Gate Weapons detection, and the district No Re-Entry policy, as well No Outside Food/Drink - This event has a no refund policy.

The deadline for reserving a spot on the 8th grade trip is quickly approaching! A $50 deposit on MySchoolBucks with the permission slips are due next Thursday, 9/3!

Attention 8th grade families!!

Spring field trip permissions went home with students last week.

Eligible 8th grade students will be able to attend a fun and exhilarating field trip to the Whitewater Center in Charlotte. There they will do a zipline simulation and be able to participate in additional land and water activities.

A non-refundable deposit of $50 is due by 9/3 to reserve a spot. The entire fee may be paid up front or check out the payment options on MySchoolBucks.

*Chaperones: A few chaperones will be needed, please make sure to check your Level 2 Volunteer status and do not make any payment until contacted by Mrs. Spolski.

For students to remain eligible to attend they must not have 2 office referrals within 2 months of any trip, 4 or more office referrals overall, or any behavior that results in a disciplinary hearing. Can not be failing 2 or more classes within a week of the trip or have 3 or more unexcused absences.
*** Reminder families only have 10 parent notes per year.***
