This past week, our newest team members officially completed Phase 1 of the Kershaw County EMS orientation process! 🚑

During this phase, our new employees spent time in the classroom with our Chief of Training, Chief of Compliance, and Field Training Officers reviewing protocols, completing skills testing, driver training, and much more to prepare them for success in the field.

Friday marked the final day of Phase 1, where our new hires had the opportunity to practice operating our ambulances. We’re happy to report that only a few cones were injured in the process! 😂

On Monday, they begin Phase 2 as they head into field orientation alongside their FTOs. Their excitement and dedication to serving the citizens of Kershaw County is already evident, and we are proud to welcome them to the team.

Please join us in wishing our newest members the best of luck as they begin their EMS journey with Kershaw County EMS!
