Camden Bottoms WMA

There has been nothing done in the Camden Bottoms by TWRA as far as retaking the fields to help make it a better place to waterfowl hunt in 2026-27 and beyond. This year would have been the perfect year to retake the fields and make drain ditches to keep them dry to maximize crops for waterfowl and other game animals. It has been one of the dryest springs in many years yet TWRA didn't take advantage of this golden opportunity to help make Camden Bottoms great again.

What fields did the best this past weekend? I'm hearing so much different stuff it's crazy. I heard that north of the RR tracks did good and so did the 20 field but no one has numbers or will confirm. Was told that the 30 field was crappy and so was the triangle but some say they did good... anybody got real numbers?

Looks like the weather is going to help us out for opening day... lots of cold and snow starting now all along the flyway north of us. let's hope it makes for a great opening day
