We had several classes earn Compliment Parties this week, and we love seeing the excitement and celebrations in our classrooms! 🎉💜

We also have our Golden Trashcan Trophy 🗑️🏆 awarded by our custodial staff to the cleanest classroom in each hallway. It has been fun watching our littlest Lakers take pride in their classrooms, help keep them clean, and do their part!

A big thank you to our custodial team for making this such a fun way to celebrate our students! 💜💛

Our high school football readers stopped by Dogwood Elementary on Thursday, and we were so excited to have them! 🏈📚

Since there is no school today, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to start our day with our football players greeting our students and spreading some Laker pride! 💜 We love seeing our youngest Lakers look up to and connect with our high school athletes!

Envelopes are coming home with students today for the Laker Discount Card Fundraiser! The Camdenton Laker Athletic Boosters are sponsoring the Discount Card Program that will run through September 17. Students can sell cards to family and friends to help support the Camdenton R-III School District. 100% of the net proceeds go to help our schools!

Please turn in your envelopes by Thursday, September 17, and make sure your student's name is written clearly on the envelope.

Thank you, families, for helping us make our first day such a special one! We loved seeing our students walk through the building with their teachers and staff, make new friends, and begin their school year with us.

Tomorrow is Independence Day at Dogwood! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 Don’t forget to wear your RED, WHITE & BLUE!

We’ll have all of our staff helping with arrival tomorrow. Whether you say goodbye at the bus stop, front door, or in the car at parent drop off, we’ll be there to help and make sure everyone gets to class safely.

📚 Online Registration: Please make sure your Online Registration (OLR) is completed. Once completed, teacher assignments and class schedules can be viewed in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

📱 ParentSquare: Important information, including the RSVP for the first day of school, has been shared with families through the ParentSquare App.

❤️🤍💙Independence Day: The second day of school is a special day when our students will practice entering the building independently. We know this can be a little emotional for parents, too! Please know that we’ve got them! Our staff will be outside to help with parent drop-off and pick-up and will be there to welcome and guide our students safely into the building.
