There is higher confidence in the Saturday evening round of storms.

Reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday June 2nd, is our monthly CERT meeting in Camdenton at 6:30. Everyone is welcome to attend. Tomorrow's topic is "Are you ready?", it will be an in depth look at disaster preparedness. The meeting will be at the Camden County Emergency Management office at 12 VFW Rd Camdenton. We hope to see you there!

We received updated information, North Highway 7 near Dry Creek is closed, State Road J is open.

ALERT: Missouri Route 7, between Camden County Route T and the city of Richland, is set to close June 1 at Sellars Creek. While the driving surface is being replaced, a signed detour will direct all traffic around the closure via Camden County Routes T and H.

We wish everyone has a safe and happy memorial day. Let us not forget the reason for this holiday, let us honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that the rest of us may enjoy our freedoms. We also encourage everyone to celebrate safely this weekend. Recent flood waters are still taking their toll on the lake area. The lake has lots of debris in it, making conditions more dangerous that normal. Please be safe!
