As Cameron students head back to school, please remember to stop for school buses when their red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended.

Under Missouri RSMo §304.050, drivers must stop in both directions when a bus is loading or unloading children. You may not proceed until the bus moves or the driver signals you to go.

The Cameron Police Department will be actively enforcing this law to protect our kids. Failing to stop puts children at risk and can result in citations.

Let’s all do our part to keep Cameron’s students safe this school year! 🚌💙
