in 1865 — now known as Juneteenth — Union General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, Texas and read General Order No. 3, delivering the news of emancipation to enslaved Black Texans more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. The last to know. The last to be free. Today, we honor that history and recommit ourselves to the ongoing work of ensuring every Texan's voice is heard, counted, and protected.

Kevin Roberts, president of the Heritage Foundation and one of the key figures behind Project 2025, recently stated on C-SPAN that Heritage has tracked 1,913 recommendations in Project 2025 and that 1,055 have already been implemented or are underway. That’s about 55% of the agenda. So when people claim Project 2025 isn’t influencing the administration, even its own architects are publicly claiming otherwise.
