TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE THURSDAY (8/27/26) TO FRIDAY (8/28/26) - Bob F Griffin Road at US Highway 36, the south side of the intersection, will be closed from 10:00 pm on Thursday, August 27th until 5:00 am on Friday, August 28th. Businesses on the south side of the intersection can still be accessed from the south. A tube under the roadway at this location is being replaced.

The City of Cameron Animal Control & Shelter was recognized by the Best Friends Animal Society for our ongoing status as a No-Kill organization in 2025! ❤️🐾

To achieve this recognition, an animal shelter must save 90% or more of the dogs and cats that enter the facility.

We are thankful to be recognized by a leading national animal welfare organization for our continued lifesaving work for stray, unwanted & homeless animals in need.
