🚨 🚨 TRAINING EXERCISE TODAY 🚨 🚨

There will be a training exercise today Saturday April 11th, 2026 from 2:30pm until 5pm at the Williams Energy Fort Beeler Plant along U.S. Route 250 & Route 34 Middle Grave Creek near Cameron. Emergency vehicles & personnel will be seen in the area.

Today members of the Emergency Management staff & Marshall County EMS participated in the Northern West Virginia Hospital Surge Capacity Exercise from our Emergency Operations Center (EOC).

The Marshall County Health Department, WVU Medicine Reynolds Memorial Hospital & WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital also participated in today’s drill from their respective locations.

Today the Sexual Assault Help Center is conducting training for EMS & other First Responders in the Emergency Operations Center at the Marshall County Public Safety Building.

Training includes proper procedures & responsibilities when dealing with such incidents.

They are holding two sessions today from 9am to 11am & again from 6:30pm to 8:30pm both at the EOC.
