☀️ Summer Meals Are Here! 🍎🥪

Mitchell County School System is proud to offer FREE breakfast and lunch to all children 18 years of age and younger this summer!

We want to ensure every child has access to nutritious meals while school is out. Meals are available at multiple school locations throughout June, and all children are welcome regardless of where they attend school.

Please help us spread the word to families throughout our community. Together, we can keep our students fueled, healthy, and ready for a great summer! 💙❤️

🎉 Earn Rewards!

Students who complete and return their summer learning activities will be recognized and eligible for incentives when school begins!

What a fun way to wrap up the school year and kick off summer! ☀️🍔🌭🍧

Today, the Mitchell County School System District Office enjoyed an amazing Summer Bash filled with food, fun, laughter, and team building! Staff enjoyed burgers, hot dogs, grilled favorites, sno cones, watermelon, and friendly competition through games like co****le, Head Shoulders Knees Cup Challenge, tower building, and the cotton scoop challenge.

We also took time during lunch to celebrate and honor some very special members of the MCSS family. Congratulations and heartfelt thanks to our retirees — Donna Johnson, Rodney Conine, and Malissa English — for their years of dedicated service, commitment, and impact on Mitchell County School System. Your contributions have helped shape Eagle Nation, and you will always be appreciated. ❤️💙

We also congratulated Dr. Sam Clemons as he prepares for the next step in his professional journey. Thank you for your leadership, service, and dedication to MCSS. We wish you nothing but success in this exciting new chapter!

A special thank you to Superintendent Dr. Veronica Brown and CFO Luci Conine for hosting such a thoughtful and enjoyable event for our team. It was a great opportunity to relax, connect, celebrate, and continue building the strong relationships that make Mitchell County School System so special. 🦅

📣MCHS Graduation Update!!!

🎓 MCHS Graduation Update 🎓

Eagle Nation, due to forecasted thunderstorms, the Mitchell County High School Graduation Ceremony has been moved indoors to the Mitchell County High School Gymnasium.

📍 Location: Mitchell County High School Gymnasium
1000 Newton Rd, Camilla, GA 31730

Each graduate will receive 14 tickets for gym seating. Overflow seating will be available in the auditorium, if needed.

🎟️ Ticket Pick-Up:
Graduation tickets may be picked up in the MCHS Front Office beginning at 4:00 PM.

While we know this is not the original plan, our priority is making sure our graduates, families, and guests can celebrate safely and comfortably. Tonight is still about honoring the hard work, accomplishments, and bright futures of the Class of 2026.

Let’s fill this evening with positive energy, love, and support for our graduates. They deserve a celebration that reminds them just how proud Eagle Nation is of them!
