🐗 Flint River and our partners are working together to host our Feral Swine Control and Wildlife Habitat Workshop. Join us on July 1 at UGA Extension Grady County - FACS for trapping demos and advice from wildlife experts. This event is perfect for Georgia farmers and landowners invested in protecting the state's land and ecosystems.

The Flint River Soil and Water Conservation District was pleased to participate in the Annual Farm and Field Day hosted by the Southwest Georgia Project on April 23-24. The annual event attracts farmers, the community, and stakeholders from across the region. Abby Bodiford and Emma McBrayant recently represented the Flint River Soil and Water Conservation District at 4C Academy's Ag Futures Day. During the event, students visited various booths to gain insight into the many career opportunities available within the agriculture industry.

"We enjoyed the opportunity to engage with the students and share more about our work in conservation," stated Abby Bodiford, Smart Irrigation and Education Coordinator.
