WAVES is a not for profit organization dedicated to providing the highest level of pre-hospital EMS care. WAVES also staffs the Village of Minoa Ambulance.

WAVES will also be celebrating our 50th Anniversary of service to the town this year ! The Western Area Volunteer Emergency Services (WAVES) provides the Town of Camillus with its primary ambulance service.

WAVeS has had a busy and exciting couple of weeks!

It was wonderful to see incredible female participation in the Gillie Girl event. We are continually amazed and proud to partner with the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. The Baldwin Fund Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon

On August 4th, WAVES joined other county first responders at Onondaga Lake Park for National Night Out. It was fantastic to connect with so many community members and teach vital hands-only CPR skills.

The WAVES team had an absolutely fantastic time at the Amboy Aviation Exhibit celebrating this incredible 100-year milestone. From history-making aircraft to the amazing stories behind them, it was an unforgettable experience.
Thank you to everyone who organized this spectacular event and to everyone who stopped by to say hello! Here’s to the next century of taking flight. 🌤️🛫

As we celebrate the birth of our nation, we wish everyone a fun, safe, and memorable Independence Day filled with family, friends, and community spirit. Whether you’re attending a parade, enjoying a backyard barbecue, watching fireworks, or spending time with loved ones, please remember to celebrate responsibly.

Stay aware of your surroundings, never drink and drive, keep a close eye on children, and follow all local laws and safety guidelines. Our first responders will be working throughout the holiday to help keep our communities safe, and we appreciate your cooperation in making their job a little easier.

Have a wonderful Fourth of July, enjoy the festivities, and most importantly—stay safe, make good choices, and look out for one another. Happy Independence Day!
