25 years ago our world changed …. 25 yrs ago the following members from WAVES answered the call : Sue Abbot, Kevin Skibinski . “Sister” Jo LaNasa, Dave “pod” Podkowinski, Dave Shalala and Jim McDonald (currently serving on our Board of Directors). They packed up extra supplies and went down to ground zero to lend aid. Their lives , like ours were forever changed . Please remember all that gave that day, and after and all that paid the ultimate price .
Never Forget.
“All gave some , some gave all”
Take a moment , thank a First Responder , hug a loved one and do a kind deed for others.

On August 4th, WAVES joined other county first responders at Onondaga Lake Park for National Night Out. It was fantastic to connect with so many community members and teach vital hands-only CPR skills.

What a fantastic day at the Reed Webster Market Fair! It was so rewarding to teach community members of all ages why CPR matters and how to perform it. 🫀
