Salary Information
Starting pay is $21.42 (about $62,375.00 annually based 2,912 hours per year) plus an excellent benefits package. Employees in this classification will also receive a one-time increase of $1.00 after completion of 18 months of employment. This position is in the pay schedule and range of 05-11.

Four members spent the weekend at Western Technical College Fire Service Training Center participating in 16 hours of training provided by Strategic Fire Training. Training included hose movement, water flow for fire attack, ladder operations, forcible entry and a lot of live fire. This training is invaluable and there can never be enough. Thank you for providing the opportunity for us to attend.

THANK YOU. MAA and Mauston Police were on base for our annual training. The afternoon consisted on active shooter responses. As much as we never hope to have to respond, we want to be as prepared as possible for when we do.
We train for on base and off base responses and this is no different.
