Chamber Executives from across Pennsylvania came together today for at the Capitol! Our President & CEO, George M. Book, Jr., was in attendance on behalf of our Chamber and as Board Chair of the PACProfessionals. The day included meeting with the Pennsylvania Legislators for Coffee & Connections before being welcomed by Luke Bernstein - President & CEO of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, Speaker Joanna McClinton (D-Phila.) - PA House of Representatives, and Senator Kim Ward (R-Westmoreland) – Senate Pro Tempore. They also discussed the budget with Senator Scott Martin and Representative Jordan Harris before they headed to the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business & Industry Offices. There they continued important policy discussions, along with a Political Update on Midterm Elections, and a Federal and State Update from the PA Chamber and U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

What an amazing day in Harrisburg discussing how we can move things forward for our business community at the state level. Supporting our members by representing business interests and our community with the legislators today is only part of what we are here to do for you! Thank you to the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business & Industry and Pennsylvania Association of Chamber Professionals for arranging this important day 👏🎉

Yesterday we had the honor of celebrating the 75th anniversary of our member, Fine Art Photo 📸 Located in Lemoyne, the company was founded in 1951 as one of the first specialty photo retailers in the region and first photo lab in Central Pennsylvania. In 1954, they became the first photo lab in the area to develop color film. 75 years later they are proud to be among the small number still operating - not only in Central Pa, but across the country!

Congratulations to Gary Knaub and Tina Minkoff, the new owners of the family-owned business who took over after more than 40 years of working alongside their parents who now have officially retired. We wish you the best of luck in your business for many more years to come 🎉
