Winter Storm Condition UPDATE:
Camp LeJeune will set Winter Storm Condition2 (WSC II) starting at 0900 Friday 6 January 2017. WSC II is a preparatory condition in which the base maintains normal working conditions while preparing for winter weather conditions.
Camp LeJeune will set Winter Storm Condition 1 (WSC I) 2200 Friday and will remain in that condition until the Command return the Base to normal operations. All members of the Camp LeJeune community are advised to restrict travel during WSC I conditions and to monitor the Camp LeJeune page as well as this page for further updates.

Today, Angus Hardie "Jay" Jamerson passed away at age 89.

He was one of the first African-American Marines to serve during World War II. In 1945, he was drafted and sent to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina to train at Montford Point. He received the Congressional Gold Medal in 2011 for his service.

GySgt Bradburn retired the end of December; he is a great Marine, Leader and Mentor that will be missed!
