Camp Verde Corn Festival Annual Cornfest - 3rd weekend in July Sweet corn is summer in your mouth and on your chin and running down your forearms. Here's the details! When? Want more?

For people who eagerly await the summer-only crop of sweet corn, preferably fresh from the roaster and dipped in butter. The Annual Camp Verde Corn Festival takes place at the Town of Camp Verde this July 15th & 16th, 2011. There are games and fun for all ages including contests for “The Corniest Corn Joke”, “Corn Shucking Contest”, “Corn Eating Contest” and last but not the least is the “Hog Call

ing Contest. The age groups for each of these contests are 5-8 years, 9-11 years, 12-15 years and then 16 and over. Friday, July 15th from 3pm - 10pm & Saturday, July 16th, 2011 from 10am to 10pm

Where? Downtown Camp Verde, 395 South Main Street, Camp Verde, Arizona 86322

What's to eat? FRESH ROASTED CORN!! "Fair" style food vendors! What should I do? Come on out for a weekend of family fun! There will be an "entertainment center" for the youngsters with lots of fun things. Live Entertainment and Lots of Family Fun! Games for all ages! We will crown the King and Queen of Corn! We'll have prizes for the winners of the CORNIEST JOKE and the HOG CALLING Contest.

The Cornfest will be held on July 20 & 21, 2012.

If you or anyone you know might be interested in a booth to display and sell your items, please let us know.

Also, this is a great opportunity for the local non-profit groups and the area chapters of boy-girls scouts, etc.. to raise money for their cause at a VERY LOW COST.

This - Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm at Wingfield Plaza: 564 S Main Street, Camp Verde. Come support local merchants, artists, & crafters for a local holiday shopping experience! We'll have face painting, antiques, crafts, and more! Spread the word to your friends and come help support your community!
We'd love for you to bring a can of food for a family in need if you are able!

Advanced tickets for the Fort Verde Days carnival are now on sale until noon Friday October 7th. Advanced ticket prices are $18.00 for unlimited rides for one day. Regular price of $25.00 will apply after that.

Fort Verde Days is one week away! Are you planning on attending? Make sure you take a look at the calendar of events - there are so many! The Black Hawk helicopter will land Saturday morning right after the pancake breakfast. There is the carnival for the kids and beer garden for the adults. Something for everyone!
