Three teams competed at the annual Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge. Our students competed against teams from several area schools including Boardman, Lakeview, Lisbon, Western Reserve, and Grand Valley. All three teams competed well finishing in the top 10. The team of Anastasios Davis, Yianni Koullias, and Kayla Coriano got 1st Place and received $250 each for their victory and an opportunity at a $1000 scholarship! This is the second year in a row that the Northeast Ohio Impact Academy has won the competition. Congratulations to all the students who competed.

This week, our remote pilot class got to spend the day with Mayor Valentino going all around the city of Campbell taking pictures with our drones. This was a great experience for our students, using what they’re learning in class about drones, and also providing views of their city from heights that most people never get to see.
