Weather information from the US National Weather Service Louisville Kentucky: First, today we are under a wind advisory from 9am this morning until 8am tomorrow. Second, a line of strong to severe thunderstorms will push west to east across the area between 9 PM EDT Sunday and 4 AM EDT Monday. Damaging winds are the primary severe weather hazard, but tornadoes will also be possible. The timing for these storms in our area is from 10pm to 1am. This is particularly dangerous because they will be arriving while many are in bed. It is highly recommended to have multiple ways to receive weather alerts during that time. One way is to have a NOAA weather radio tuned to the US National Weather Service Louisville Kentucky. The other is to sign up for Hotalerts.org where you can receive weather alerts to your cell phone or landline.
