Post 5 has been hosting a retiree breakfast each month. Well, this past week we decided to change it up and sent out an "order" recalling the retirees back to their "Post". It was a great time getting to enjoy one another's company with those that paved the way for us and having them revisit Post 5. Thank you to Big Rig One Stop Shop - NAPA Heavy Duty Parts Bob Searcy for sponsoring the lunch, it was delicious!

Today is Memorial Day, which provides an opportunity to enjoy the company of our friends and family. Unfortunately, many will not be able to. This day is for those men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the name of service above self to their nation, allowing us to enjoy all the liberties it affords us.

I want to ask you to take a moment out of your day to remember these fallen heroes. I also encourage you to watch a throwback speech from 2016 by our Post 5 Commander, Captain Michael Webb. He is a Trooper, a father, a son and a Marine. His words as a combat veteran can say more than I ever could, but I will say thank you.
