NOTICE Killdeer Ave Residents

Friday 9/4 Killdeer Ave is scheduled to be finish paved.

It is also Garbage and Recycling day.

A special request has been made for GFL to collect Killdeer Ave first before the standard route to accommodate paving.

Please have your Garbage and Recycling cans out to the curb BEFORE 7am for them to be collected prior to the paving.

Killdeer Avenue Road Project Update

As a reminder, the final blacktop layer is scheduled to be applied to Killdeer Avenue tomorrow, weather permitting. Updated signs have been placed along the road to keep residents informed of the upcoming work.

If weather prevents the final layer from being completed tomorrow, the rain date will be Friday, September 4.

HAPPENING TODAY! Campbellsport Fire Department Auxiliary is hosting Senior Safety and Community Day Brat Fry on August 13, from 10 AM - 2 PM at Campbellsport Piggly Wiggly. Police Department staff will be there educating the public on recent scams and how not to fall victim. Also present will be numerous local organizations to educate you on services provided throughout Fond du Lac County.

Killdeer Avenue Road Project Update

The binder course has now been applied as part of the Killdeer Avenue road project. This is another step toward completing the roadway improvements.

🚧 Killdeer Avenue Road Project Update

Thank you to everyone for your patience during the Killdeer Avenue road construction project.

In approximately two weeks, you will notice the concrete contractor returning to address a few curb and gutter areas that were identified by our engineering team during project inspections. These corrections are part of ensuring the project meets the Village's quality standards.

We sincerely appreciate the feedback we've received from residents and thank you again for your continued patience and cooperation as we complete these final improvements.

Our Village compost dumpsters have been placed in the gravel parking lot outside the Wastewater Treatment plant. This is only temporary while the Wastewater plant driveway is being paved. These are still for organic waste ONLY.
Items that can be placed in the dumpsters are:
- Flowers
- Weeds
- Root balls
- Leafy plants
- Small twigs and branches
- Sawdust
- Topsoil from flower pots and planters

Head over to the Campbellsport Public Library for their first-ever Nerf Battle Zone! Starting tomorrow, kids and families can drop in to enjoy Nerf battles in a dedicated battle arena or test their aim in a target shooting room.

Bring your own simple Nerf blaster—the library will provide the darts!

Drop-In Hours:
📅 Wednesday: 1:00–5:00 PM
📅 Thursday: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
📅 Friday: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

We are excited to host our first ever Nerf Battle Zone! Starting tomorrow we will have drop-in times available for kids and families to stop in and battle it out in our basement.

We will have a room for battles to take place, and a room for those who just want to have some fun shooting at targets!

Bring your own simple blasters and we'll provide the darts.

Drop in times:
Wednesday: 1-5pm
Thursday: 10am-5pm
Friday: 10am-12pm
