Dredging of the Kohlsville pond is now complete. The removal of all silt has taken the pond down to hard bottom and restored it to its original depth once it's refilled. It will have depths of up to 10 to 12 feet in certain areas with 6 to 8 feet common over most of the pond. We are also providing public access in two places in addition to the park access on the lower pond. These are for fishing access along the south shore and carry in small boat access. No motorized watercraft are allowed. Some boards have been installed in the dam and it has started filling, this will take several days, we have made sure water continues to flow downstream from the pond even as it fills.
There still is some work to be done to finish it up including stone along the shoreline, some continued work on the underside of the bridge, and possible replacement of the guardrails.
Fundraising continues with raffles and donations
through the Kohlsville Fire Department and Crossroads Bar.
Thank you to all involved in getting this once in 65 year project accomplished and restoring the Kohlsville pond for public use again.

Dredging of the Kohlsville pond continues and is on schedule. We are probably looking at a couple weeks of work that is yet to be done, and are hoping to refill it and stock with fish sometime in early fall.
Crossroads Bar is running fundraiser raffles along with the Kohlsville Fire department. Tickets are available at Crossroads.

Kohlsville pond update.
It looks like our excavator Artie Klemme will begin the dredging of the Kohlsville pond on or around August 3rd, dredging should take several weeks. It's been a long process to get to this point.
We are still raising money for this project through the Kohlsville Fire Department gun raffle, and a 50/50 raffle both raffle tickets can be bought at the Crossroads in Kohlsville.
Thanks to everyone involved in getting this project to this point, especially:
Kohlsville FD.
Kohlsville Kruisers.
Tom Schultz and Crossroads Bar.
