The Taylor County Republican Women will be meeting on Tuesday, June 2 at 7:00 pm at the Miller Park Walking Track. We will also be presenting the Marlyn J. Shreve scholarship. We hope you can join us!

Marlyn J. Shreve Memorial Scholarship

“Empowering Dreams, Creating Success”

Open to any graduating Senior of the following schools:
-Taylor County High School
-Campbellsville Independent High School
-Kentucky Christian Academy
-Accredited Home School Program

Applicants must submit an essay of minimum of 500 words to maximum of 1,000 words. Entries begin April 15, 2026 through May 8, 2026 and must be submitted to [email protected].

The topic of the essay encourages applicants to explore the theme of conservatism and share their perspective on what it means to be a conservative. In addition, applicants should share innovative ideas for promoting conservative values within our county, state and nation.

Applicants should include their full name, phone number, email address, and respective school on essay entry.

The winner will be announced May 15, 2026 on the Taylor County Republican Women page.

This $500 scholarship is sponsored by the Taylor County Republican Women.
