⚠️ Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless gas produced when a carbon-based fuel, such as gasoline, propane, or charcoal, burns.

It only takes a few breaths to kill you. If you smell exhaust, CO is present.

🚤 When boating, be aware of CO and know the signs of CO poisoning. Staying informed could save a life. ❤️

🚨REMINDER: Our loaner life jacket stations at Green River Lake are here for one important reason—to help keep our visitors safe on the water. 🌊

Life jackets at these stations are available to borrow for a day while you're at the lake, with the expectation that they will then be returned so they're ready for the next person who needs one. 🦺

Unfortunately, we've recently had a number of life jackets that have not been returned, along with carabiners used to secure the jackets inside the stations.

🙏 Please help us keep this important water safety resource available to everyone. If you borrow a life jacket, remember to bring it back when you're finished. These stations only work when we all do our part to keep them stocked.

Take a jacket when you need one. Return it when you're done. Help us keep Green River Lake safe for everyone! 🦺🌊💙

Friendly Reminder: No Wake Zones are there for a reason.🚤⚠️

Reducing your speed helps:
🏊 Protect swimmers
🛶 Protect paddlers
🦆 Protect wildlife
⚓ Protect docks and boats from damage
🌱 Protect shorelines from erosion

When you enter a No Wake Zone:

✅ Slow to idle speed
✅ Minimize your wake
✅ Stay alert for others on the water
✅ Take precautions to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning
✅ Make sure every passenger stays on the vessel and keeps their life jacket on 🦺

Safe boating starts with responsible boating!

⚠️🛟 That inflatable raft can be a lot of fun—until an unexpected fall turns into a fight for your life.

A fall from a raft, kayak, or boat can leave even experienced swimmers struggling in open water.

🌊 Lakes, rivers, and ponds have:
💨 Currents
🥶 Cold temperatures
⬇️ Uneven bottoms
🔄 Constantly changing conditions

Protect yourself and those you love—wear a life jacket whenever you're in, on, or near the water. 🦺❤️
