Never in my wildest dreams could I expect this. An Alter Boy growing up poor; having my needs but rarely my wants. No clue what I wanted to be…to so. on to worry. A series of part time jobs;St Vincent’s, UPS and WT Grants Auto . Finally a letter from BPT Civil Service . The rest is history and it changed my life

Prospect House closed in July, 2017, after 17 years of service to the community. John Desarli and Deb Welch have not been affiliated with the house since then.

After opening in August 2001 Prospect House we helped hundreds in recovery. I sold the house in July this year. We were one of only a few who offered private rooms and a certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor
