EPIC Fly fishing cumulative field trip for these boys to the Connecticut River! Thanks to our fly fishing guide for working with the kids and teaching them something new!

Did you know that increasing the options and frequency of engaging in healthy constructive use of time activities decreases a student’s risk factors of engaging in risky behaviors? EPIC has provided a year full of engaging fun activities. We will be back in September with another year filled of fun!

Please be aware for parent/guardian pick up that we are closing the upper part of School Street due to some construction on a water piper near the school. Please us the entrance by the ballfield and pick up your students at the bottom lot then go around the parking lot and leave through where you came in for today. The upper lot near the high school entrance will still be used today for buses. Thank you for your understanding as the town fixes the pipe.

🎓 Congratulations to Canaan Memorial High School Valedictorian, Kala McAllaster! 🎓

Kala is the perfect example of what it means to be a Canaan Eagle. Kind, compassionate, intelligent, and hardworking, she approaches every challenge with determination and grace. No matter how busy or demanding her schedule became, Kala could always be counted on to greet others with a smile and a positive attitude.

Throughout her high school career, Kala challenged herself academically by taking some of the most rigorous courses available while maintaining an exceptional level of achievement. Her dedication to learning, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence have earned her the distinction of Valedictorian for the Class of 2026.

🎓 Congratulations to Canaan Memorial High School Salutatorian, Sienna Grondin! 🎓

Sienna has made the most of every opportunity during her time at Canaan Memorial High School. A dedicated three-sport athlete, FBLA member, and this year's CTE Student of the Year in Business Administration & Technology, Sienna has consistently demonstrated what it means to be hardworking, determined, and committed to excellence.

Throughout high school, Sienna challenged herself academically by taking a rigorous course load while balancing athletics, extracurricular activities, and career and technical education. No matter the challenge, she approached it with confidence, perseverance, and a willingness to grow. Her strong work ethic and drive to succeed have earned her the distinction of Salutatorian for the Class of 2026.

Beyond her impressive accomplishments, Sienna is known for her positive attitude, leadership, and ability to rise to any challenge placed before her. She is a role model for her peers and a student who has truly left her mark on the Canaan school community.

Sienna plans to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy, a field that perfectly reflects her compassion, determination, and desire to help others. We have no doubt that she will continue to achieve great things and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves.
