It’s been a busy few days with multiple car wrecks, runaway boat on 69, camper trailer fire on 69, structure fire in Bugtussle and Extrication Training yesterday with Crowder Volunteer Fire Department, Canadian Shores Volunteer Fire Department & Sam's Point Volunteer Fire

At 2012 CVFD was paged out to a fire in Oak Ridge Campground off Hwy 9A.

Not looking good for Pittsburg County! Be Alert, Stay Safe!

A frontal boundary is forecast to lift back northward Saturday afternoon and night, which will aid in increasing thunderstorm chances for eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. A moderate risk is outlooked for portions of eastern Oklahoma Saturday with a slight to enhanced risk elsewhere. Large hail to giant hail and damaging winds are the primary severe threats, but a elevated tornado risk will exist, especially south of Highway 412.
