Window to the World: This was my view this morning as I did a refreshing Facebook Live broadcast from here in the Finger Lakes on beautiful Canadice Lake. HUGE thank you to Canadice Lake Outfitters for setting me up with the peddling kayak, freeing my hands up to safely capture content and do the live stream. They rent these out, it’s a fabulous adventure for those traveling to the beloved Finger Lakes Region. Canadice Lake, like neighboring Hemlock Lake, has NO development on it. Drinking water to Rochester has come from here since 1919, there are strict boating limitations—it is truly a pristine vista here and in the autumn, it’s outrageously beautiful! Lots of folks chiming in during the broadcast from across America 🇺🇸, from Sabattus, Maine to Matanuska Valley, Alaska and many in between. The global participation today was considerable including from the following locales: Ireland 🇮🇪, Belgium 🇧🇪, Turkey 🇹🇷, Malta 🇲🇹, Colombia 🇨🇴, India 🇮🇳, Malaysia 🇲🇾, Japan 🇯🇵, Switzerland 🇨🇭, Netherlands 🇳🇱, Lithuania 🇱🇹, Ireland 🇮🇪, Australia 🇦🇺, United Kingdom 🇬🇧, Canada 🇨🇦, South Africa 🇿🇦, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰, Trinidad 🇹🇹, Bangladesh 🇧🇩 and Philippines 🇵🇭. All of these Facebook lives are memorable and enjoyable—this one was among my favorite. Thank you to those who participated—the support on my page is never taken for granted!
