We apologize for the short notice, but the Village of Canajoharie Office will be closing today at 4:30 PM.

Any payments may be placed in the drop box/mailbox located at the front door and will be processed when the office reopens.

As a reminder, the Village Office will also be CLOSED Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.

Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 8:00 AM.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Paving will occur tomorrow, August 26 through Friday, August 28th.

-The 26th will be Otsego St and Lower Walnut
-The 27th will be Burch, 3rd, and Upper Maple

Please be cautious, drive slowly and follow the directions of the traffic control workers so that this project can get done quickly and safely!

🚨 IMPORTANT PUBLIC NOTICE — BOILING POT & CANAJOHARIE GORGE CLOSED 🚨

By order of the Village Board, the Boiling Pot and Canajoharie Gorge are CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC from Canajoharie Falls to Riverfront Park.

⛔ No public access is permitted within the closed area.⛔

Anyone entering the closed area will be considered trespassing and will be prosecuted.

Please respect the closure, stay out of the restricted area, and help us keep everyone safe.

📢 Village Office Closing Early Today
The Village Office will be closing at 2:30 PM today and will reopen tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM.

💧 Water/Sewer Bill Payments:
Payments may be left in the mailbox outside the main entrance.

If you need a receipt, please include a note with your payment requesting one. Your receipt will be mailed to you the following business day.
