A message from our fabulous FOL: Book Sale Success!
Another successful sale is “in the books” and we could not be more thankful for the incredible support of this wonderful community. Our annual May book sale raised a total of $3,947!!! This means A LOT of books found new homes and your generosity helps to provide funding for the many awesome programs as well as the Community Exploration Passes the library has to offer. We are also proud to announce that we were able to give away over 50 free books to school children during the sale. We’ll look forward to seeing you all again next May!

Our first summer reading program for the teens is already coming up next week on Tuesday, June 2nd! Teens ages 12-18 can pop in to decorate a dino-themed tote bag that's perfect for hauling summer reading books and prizes!

Teens are also invited to join us for Summer Reading Kick off on Monday to also receive a free ticket for Kona Ice when they register for our Summer Reading Challenge. Teens can register for Summer Reading at the Information Desk.

Genealogist Brandy Rittenhour will be here to speak on the tips and tricks of beginner Genealogy in her "Mysteries of History" presentation happening on Thursday, June 4th at 6:00 PM.

A message from our fabulous FOL: Thank you to everyone that came to the first three days of our book sale, wow, what a turnout! We are going to try something new for today (Sunday), the last day of the sale - today will be "fill a bag, make a donation day". Still lots of great items looking for a good home. The sale hours today are 10 am until 2 pm - stop by and check it out!

Calling all book sale shoppers! The annual Friends of the Library Book Sale begins TOMORROW, Thursday, May 14th from 4:00 pm- 7:00 pm with a special preview night for our amazing Friends of the Library members!
It’s also not too late to join to be among the first to choose from our HUGE selection! Simply stop by the circulation desk to complete a quick membership form, and you will be able gain access to the preview!
Regular sale dates will be Friday, May 15th and Saturday, May 16th from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm, and Sunday, May 17th from 10 am until 2 pm.
