d2d is a nationally networked Course-based Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE) program and they are welcoming new members for the 2026–2027 academic year. The underlying scientific goal of D2D is to facilitate academic crowd-sourcing to rapidly address protein design questions that would normally take isolated labs decades to answer.

CCURI is celebrating Dr. Mary Miller from Baton Rouge Community College. After attending our CCURI sponsored workshops focused on using freshwater sponges as a research platform, she took her program to new heights, including one of the largest research groups focused on these organisms.
