Congratulations, Gates Fire District Headquarters CRR! This team has been instrumental in helping CFD’s Fire & Life Safety Education Division deliver the best for Canandaigua.

On June 11th our Community Risk Reduction Specialist Kalliopi Lang and our Assistant Community Risk Reduction Specialist Laurie Schwenzer were presented the James W. Wright Public Education Award by the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs at their 120th Annual Conference. The Gates Fire District's Community Risk Reduction Program was awarded the award for innovation and exceptional effort in fire/injury prevention and fire/life safety public education. Congratulations to CRRS Lang and ACRRS Schwenzer on receipt of the award and the outstanding service to the community.
