Hello Everyone,

We have been receiving lots of questions about our Mid-Valley Showpig sale and Bar G Ranch Open Barn Sales for this year. This year we had several litters planned and sows/gilts bred for our sale. Unfortunately, our fall sows were in false pregnancies and we did not get the litters we had hoped for. Due to the concerns with the spread of viruses coming into our farm and having pregnant sows and gilts currently, we are not bringing in showpigs from large breeders this year like we did last year to have enough for our sale. We currently have 2 litters that we are privately selling.

For this year, we are putting a pause on Mid-Valley Showpig Sale and our Open Barn Sales. We are already planning for 2026 😊. We will be selling the litters we currently have (and will have) via private treaty.

Please Contact us directly or via the Bar G Ranch page to be placed on the contact list. We only have a few litters so far. We have one litter planned for Early February, perfect for August Fairs. This is a cross litter. SRSS C**t 45 x Wide Awake.

Our Multi- Champion Yorkshire Sow “Poppy” from 2023 farrowed her litter in December. We possibly have one Registered York Barrow available for this litter (remaining are sell pending). PM to be placed on the wait list for this barrow. Specific barrow TBD as depends on what prior reservations pick.

Our Multi-Champion Berkshire “Denali” from this year that C**ten showed had a litter of all gilts! Show families and breeders, this is a great litter! Mom farrowed unassisted, maternal lines farrow unassisted also. Sire is Rule the Roost. PM to be placed on the contact list for this litter.

We are all setup for the day! Come see us at Clackamas County Fairgrounds! We are setup in the rabbit barn.

We have Wilco and purina feed reps here, they are doing a giveaway drawing that you won't want to miss! Live auction starts at 11am, bidding is closed at 1pm. Come to the table to register for a bidder number.

We have a great selection of hogs for jackpots and county fairs! We hope to,see you here!

Ohh and don't forget Tacos for lunch!!

Good Morning!!! Tomorrow is the big day of our sale! We are so excited to see you all and have some fun things planned.

🛑🛑Please park in the gravel lots in front of the main entrance, the fairgrounds does not want vehicles in due to a horse event and construction unless we are loading pigs. The arrows on the map shows the flow for loading out. We will be in building/barn #9🛑🛑

Alright you all here are some details on our sale!

3/24/24 @ Clackamas County fairgrounds- Rabbit Barn.

🛑For parking- please park across the street in gravel parking lot across from main entrence due to construction at the fairgrounds. 🛑

We will have 40+ showpigs Perfect
for July and August fairs 🎡 from multiple breeders.

We will do an introduction and go over some info on how the sale will run.

Purina will be doing a feed seminar.

We will go over bio-security, vaccines, skin care and a Q&A for kids and parents.

Wilco Farm Store will be present to take online courses orders to be picked up down the road at Canby Wilco for all your project supplies from feed and grooming supplies to health care items 🐷🧼🩺💉🪣

We will have an amazing food truck available to purchase lunch from Maricaro Tacos 🌮 🌮🌮
